Hufnágl Ice Trophy Summer Series Rd4 – Report

Round 4 of the Hufnágl Ice Trophy Summer Series was held in Otrokovice, Czech Republic in very hot weather conditions. The asphalt temperate would near 65°C and this would cause problems with electronics and also some drivers and in the Modified Touring class it was Matej Sulc with the TQ and win followed by Pavel Martinec and David Mestan.

With 15 entries the Touring Stock class was the most popular category of the weekend. The fight for the win was a 3-horse race between Ludek Maler, David Mestan and Vlastimil Svec. After some nice fights in the finals it was Ludek Maler who held the upper hand over David Mestan and Vlastimil Svec.

In the formula class Petr Novotny scored another victory. Behind him the fight for the runner-up spot was on between Antonin Hudec and Milan Peska. Antonin was able to keep a tight racing line to secure the 2nd place from Milan in 3rd.
