Pro-Line Pro-MT 4×4 1/10 monster truck pre-built roller
Coming from Pro-Line is the all-new Pro-MT 4×4 1/10th scale 4WD pre-built monster truck roller. Known for their body shells, tyres, accessories and also a range of 2WD vehicles, Pro-Line have now entered the 4WD market with this 4×4 monster truck. Designed to handle the abuse of high-performance 1/8th scale motors and 4S LiPo battery setups the 1/10th truck utilises design features known from 1/8th scale buggies to combine durability, performance and a high degree of tuneability. Included option parts do away with the need to purchase expensive aftermarket parts and so the features list include items such as a 3mm 6061-T6 alloy chassis with 3mm thick hardened steel spine, front, centre and rear sealed gear differentials with oversized bearings as well as hardened steel Mod 1 gears for the drivetrain.
The suspension is equipped with 16mm big bore shock absorbers with gun metal anodised aluminium housings, single X-ring seals, delrin shock pistons and shaft guides as well as hard chrome coated shock shafts. The CNC machined aluminium motor mount system is designed to fit both 1/10 and 1/8 motors, and it pre-sets the gear mesh while preventing the motor from shifting during use. The gear mesh is set using the included chassis inserts for the pinion gear the driver plans to use. Soaking up the punishment of backyards, gravel pits and worn-out RC tracks is the front pivot ball suspension with delrin pivot inserts. Extra thick upper and lower control arms are designed to take a beating and are mounted to aluminium arm mounts with plastic hinge pin inserts similar to 1/8th race buggies. Front and rear sway bars come standard and lock nuts are used everywhere possible to prevent screws from backing out. Other features include easy access diff cases, a ball-raced steering and a balanced weight distribution for a straighter flying and easier to control truck. The kit is rounded out by Pro-Line Badlands MX28 tyres on 17mm hex F-11 wheels and its height-adjustable body mounts take a wide range of monster truck bodies.
