Stadler & Ehrbar win at Sweep Challenge Rd5

The fifth and final round of the Austrian Sweep Challenge was held at Trinko Modellsport in Mistelbach this past weekend. The event was held in several electric on-road and a single off-road class. In 13.5T Touring it was Dionys Stadler with a clean sweep after the qualifiers as winning all four rounds secured him the overall TQ from Sascha Klug and Tim Benson. In the Formula class it was David Ehrbar with the TQ from Tim Benson and Christian Schmid.

In the 13.5T A-mains it was Dionys with the win in A1 from Sascha in 2nd, however a unfortunate crash in the closing stages meant Dionys would only be able to take the 2 spot in A2 behind Sascha. The third and decisive main would make things exiting again and with a 1.1s win from Sascha, Dionys would take the overall from Sascha 2nd and Tim 3rd – the latter had to catch his flight back to Germany and missed the price giving ceremony.

The Formula A-mains were all-David and with three wins he would take an easy overall from Tim Benson 2nd and Andreas Teubl 3rd. Christian Schmid and Manuel Trinko completed the top 5 result.
