RC-Project NB/EB48 lower shock screws & uni balls
Italian company RC-Project have introduced new lower shock screws and uni balls for the Tekno NB48 and EB48 series of off-road kits. Starting with the lower shock mounting screws, they are machined from 7075-T6 Ergal material and they feature an optimised overall diameter to ensure a better connection between the pin, arm and lower shock eyelet ball. In addition the thread diameter has been enlarged by 0.05mm to ensure the screws are sitting tight even in used suspension arms. The hard-coated screws are supplied in colour-coded and marked left and right hand thread variants to ensure they will not come loose accidentally during use.
Also new is an 8-piece set of “reverse” design suspension uniballs. Machined from the same high-quality 7075-T6 Ergal as above shock screws, the balls feature an upper conical section that prevents the ball cup from popping off during a hard crash. Their threaded design also does away with the need to use separate nuts to fasten them in favour of M3x10 socket head screws and the balls come teflon-coated for reduced friction.
