Kilic brothers sweep BIG Hamburg anniversary race
The BIG Hamburg club held their 35 years anniversary race this past weekend at their large outdoor dirt track. Classes run were 1/8th Nitro Buggy and E-Buggy and the race attracted some of the country’s fastest off-road racers to compete under perfect weather and track conditions. In the Nitro class and at the start of the 40-minutes main final it was Burak Kilic (Agama) who lead the field from Maik Wiesweg (Mugen) and Berkan Kilic (Agama). The latter ran into trouble later and scored a DNF, making way for Jan Sievert (Mugen). This would then also be the top 3 result at the end of the 40 minutes.
Over in the E-Buggy class it was Agama’s Berkan Kilic who led the proceedings, taking the win from his brother Burak Kilic (Agama) on the runner-up spot at Mugen’s Florian Müller came in 3rd to round out the podium.
Thanks to Abdullah Kilic for the report.
