JJ Wang wins 200mm class at KO Grand Prix

The KO Propo Grand Prix was held at Steel City RC Raceway in Fontana, California this past weekend. The event was held in several 1/8th and 1/10th and 1/5th classes and in 1/10th 200mm Nitro Sedan it was Mugen’s JJ Wang with the TQ from Xray’s Mike Swauger on the 2 spot after the qualifiers. JJ then also brought home the win in the 30-minutes main final some twelve seconds in front of Mike Swauger as Bryce Butterfield rounded out the podium result for Xray some two laps down. DJ Apolaro and Jose Casas would complete the top 5 results.

Over in the Electric Modified Touring Car class it was JJ Wang (Xray) with the TQ and win from Xray teammate, Julian Wong as Team Associated’s Randy Caster rounded out the top 3 podium result with his Team Associated TC7.2 prototype car.
