BRCA eBuggy & Nitro Truck Nats 3 – Report

The third round of the BRCA eBuggy and Nitro Truck National Championship was held at JC Raceway this past weekend. In the eBuggy class and after a TQ in qualifying, Jonathan Skidmore took home top step of the podium. Darren Bloomfield took second after a really nice race with his team mate leaving competition for championship tight between them, with two rounds left, as Mitchell Booth completed the top 3.

In Truck Jon Hazlewood once again had a good race with Jack Embling, with little between them on pace around the super flowing track. As the final minutes of the 30 minute main clicked by disaster struck Jack and he had to retire. This left Jon to cruise round for the last couple of minutes and he duly took the chequered flag, his first national win since 2014. Once again Ashley Owen had a super final to take 3rd overall just behind Chris Sharpe-Simkiss.
