Brent Sianez triple at Firecracker 500

The 5th annual Firecracker 500 was Radio Controlled Hobbies and Raceway’s largest race of the summer. The temperatures were hot and so was the racing. Attendance was strong with about 100 entries, which included some of the fastest drivers from RC Madness, another local track. Xray’s Brent Sianez was able to secure TQ honours and wins in Modified 2WD Buggy, Modified 4WD Buggy, and 13.5 4WD Buggy. Matt Buldoc (TLR) and Carl Smart (Team Associated) would round out the top 3 in 2WD Mod Buggy.

Over in 4WD Modified Buggy TQ and winner Brent Sianez was followed by Blake Wazocha (Yokomo) in 2nd and Nick Otto (Xray) in 3rd. Finally in 4WD 13.5 Buggy it was Keith Smart (Xray) and Mark Westerfield (Team Associated) on the 2 and 3 spot after the A-main.
