Serpent Spyder SDX4 Evo 1/10th 4WD buggy kit
Serpent have introduced the Spyder SDX4 Evo 1/10th scale 4WD buggy kit. Based on the EFRA European Championship winning platform the Evo variant offers a refined design to ensure the buggy is ready to take all sorts of surfaces and track conditions. Motor, battery and speed controller can be mounted in a variety of locations, ensuring wide control over the buggy’s weight bias. The buggy builds on an aluminium main chassis and offers several features to fine-tune the chassis flex, such as a rear carbon fibre chassis stiffener. The 4WD shaft-drive train is equipped with quick-release differential cases, an aluminium motor mount and centre bulkhead as well as a carbon fibre upper diff plate. Alloy suspension brackets, 10° C-hubs, and 0° rear uprights ensure high durability while alloy shock absorbers with 3.2mm shock shafts, X-rings and moulded pistons soak up even harsh terrain. Other features include carbon fibre shock towers and servo mount, gear differentials, and new-style and material ball joins. The kit is rounded out by a sleek body shell and it will hit stores very soon.
