Czech 1/10th Off-road Nationals Rd4 – Report
The fourth round of Czech 1/10th Electric Off-road Nationals took place last weekend at the bumpy Usti nad Labem astro track. Saturday morning started out wet, however dry weather with temperatures of up to 40 Degrees Celsius was announced. In the 2WD Buggy class Xray’s Kaja Novotny TQ’d all three rounds of qualifying for the overall and he would also take tone-to-tone wins in the opening two A-mains to take the day’s win from the Team Associated duo of Marek Schiller and Ales Bidovsky.
In 4WD Buggy and on a lower traction track, Kaja TQ’d Q1 and Q2 for the overall, however when the traction came up in the finals, Kaja wasn’t able to match the pace of winner Marek Schiller and runner-up, Ales Bidovsky and he had to settle for 3rd overall.
The Stadium Truck class however was a different affair again as Kaja took both the overall TQ and win. With one round to go the championships are already decided in favour of Kaja who secured himself the titles in all three categories with one round to spare.
