Vision Racing introduce new B6.1 & B64 options
Vision Racing have announced the release of a bunch of new carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated B6.1 and B64 buggies. First up is a 5mm rear shock tower for the B6.1 and B6.1D. The tower has webbing for added strength and it incorporates micro tune shock positioning by adding a hole in between the one and two holes of the stock tower. In addition the back of the tower has a 1mm recess to keep the stock shock angle.
Next up is a 2mm lower 5mm carbon fibre front tower for the B64 buggy. The tower lowers the shocks by 2mm and thus adds droop to the front end which helps the car on high-bite surfaces like carpet and astroturf. The tower has webbing for added strength and it incorporates micro tune shock positioning by adding a hole in between the one and two holes of the stock tower. The back is recessed 1mm to keep the stock shock angle. Also new is a 5mm rear shock tower that has the camber holes relocated over the hinge pins for better role characteristics. Like the other shock towers it is made of 5mm material, incorporates micro tune shock positioning for added adjustability. Last but not least is a 2.5mm carbon fibre centre brace for the Team Associated B64. This brace allows for more control over chassis flex characteristics with up to four holes to use. Using more holes stiffens the chassis while going with less adds flex.
