Dakotah Phend doubles at TLR Cup West

The TLR Cup West was held at Tacoma RC Raceway in Tacoma, Washington recently, attracting over 150 entires. In the 2WD Modified Buggy class it was TLR’s Dakotah Phend with the TQ and win from Team Associated’s Harley Yoshii on the 2 spot. Harley would be successful in A1, however Dakotah stroke back in A2 and A3 for the overall, leaving behind Yoshii in 2nd as Schumacher driver Mikey Brown rounded out the top 3 results.

Over in 4WD Mod Buggy Dakotah made a clean sweep, taking the pole position after the qualifiers and scoring wins in A1 and A2 for the overall, allowing him to sit out A3. Again Harley Yoshii and Mikey Brown would make up the top 3.

In the 2WD 17.5T Stock Pro class Luke Unis would win A1 and A2 for the overall, coming from the 2 spot on the grid as TQ Shane Borden had to settle for 2nd overall. Dough Bethard completed the podium result.

Elsewhere in the 4WD Pro4 Modified SC A-mains it was Douglas Hobbs with the win as Spencer Kidd and Scott Hake came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
