German Electric On-road Nationals – Report
The 2019 German Electric On-road Nationals were held at the Arena33 indoor track in Andernach over the weekend. The race was held in three Electric Touring and a single Formula class with the Touring Modified title being snatched by multiple German national champion, Ronald Völker (Yokomo). Awesomatix’s Frederick Südhoff came in 2nd as Thimo Weissbauer rounded out the podium result for Awesomatix.
The Touring Sport class had Awesomatix’s own Max Mächler showing a dominant performance with a clean sweep after the qualifiers and the A-mains to take the German National title from Awesomatix teammate, Christian Donath. Daniel Wohlgemuth converted his 3rd spot on the grid into a 3rd place overall. The Touring Hobby class saw Joachim Altenhof taking the title from Sören Sparbier and Reiner Mürder while in the Formula class David Ehrbar took a maiden German National title with Jacques Libar and Anna Wysgol rounding out the top 3 results.
