Adam Drake makes the triple at 2018 JBRL Nitro Series

The 8th and final round of the JBRL Nitro Series was held at Hot Rod Hobbies in Santa Clarita, California this past weekend. In the Expert Buggy class it was Mugen’s Adam Drake with the TQ and win from Team Associated’s Jake Mayo and HB Racing pilot Anthony Westergaard. With the win Drake also cemented the overall title from Westergaard on the runner-up spot. Tekno RC’s Carlos Arredondo would come in 3rd overall.

Open Truggy had Carlos Arredondo walking away with the win at Round 8 from TQ Cole Jenson 2nd and Dean Rock on the 3 spot. Thanks to a brilliant first part of the season however it was Adam Drake with the overall title from Carlos 2nd and Dean 3rd.

The Open E-Buggy class saw Zachary Rogers taking the TQ and win with Ryan Dunford and Dean Rock coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Overall however it was again Adam Drake who would excel, taking his third title and leaving behind Anthony Westergaard and Cole Jenson in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
