Reflex Racing roll out new TC7.2 optionals

Coming from Reflex Racing are several new optionals for the Team Associated TC7.2 touring car. First up is the bumper brace kit that includes a hard, wide front bumper. The set protect the car from hard boards and collisions. Wider and thicker than the standard bumper, the bumper can save the chassis in the event of a hard crash as especially when running indoors, the car’s front suspension is far more protected than with the stock parts.

Next up is the spec racing high-rotation top deck. The part was designed to achieve more clearance for larger Pinions which are used in spec racing. With this top deck there is no need to space the top deck up to run bigger than 50T pinions. Additionally the design of the top deck moves the flex point of the car towards the rear which gives more off power stability and better on-power rotation. Also new is a PCS braces set that includes 2.0mm and 3.0mm braces. These are used to tie the servo mount and motor mount together. Typically, in conditions of high bite, the PCS increases forward bite and rotation. Another new carbon fibre optionals set is the camber mount shim kit. The shims make it a breeze to adjust the camber link lengths on the TC7.2. Simply loosen the screws on the link mounts with a ball 2.0mm wrench and slide these shims in and out to adjust the upper link length. The kit comes with two pieces of each 0.5mm, 1.0mm and 2.0mm. Last but not least comes the inset battery hook that replaces the front battery hook on the TC7.2 and allows to mount the front of battery +3mm closer to the center of the car. This allows for a better weight balance of the car with heavy +300g batteries. Additionally, when running lighter batteries, it allows for more weight to be added to the right side of the car in the form of plates so as to bring the CG lower.
