Florian & Nico Schmid win at Swiss Off-road Champs Rd3

The third round of the Swiss 1/10th electric off-road championship took place last weekend at the Team Kaiju astro turf track in Harkingen. Due to the rain and heavy wind on Saturday the organisers had to postpone the race to Sunday. On Sunday, the wind was no longer an issue and the rainy sky changed to sunshine, however the constantly changing track conditions made it difficult to find the appropriate setup especially in the 2WD class. In the 4WD class the race for the overall win was on between Florian and Nico Schmid. Eventually the decision for the overall victory was made in A3 when Florian won ahead of Nico while Philip Jeisy completed the all-Xray top 3.

In the 2WD class Nico Schmid sealed the bag early and after coming out on top in A1 and A2. Yokomo’s Fabian Luca Widmer came in 2nd overall as A3 winner, Florian Schmid had to settle for 3rd overall.
