2019 Schumacher GP Italy – Report

The 2019 edition of the Schumacher GP Italy was held at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Bolzano in a state of the art conference room supplemented by large pit spaces which provided great comfort for the numerous attendants. In LMP Open Modified, it was Andy Murray taking the win ahead of teammate and young gun Daniel Robins. The 3rd place went to Mattia Dall’Oca.

In GT12, the largest class at the event, it was again back to back UK National Champion Andy Murray to seal the win after a super close and thrilling battle on the track with Nathanael Goodban. To complete the all-english podium, Mark Fitzsimmons showed impressive consistency and speed throughout the weekend.

In the Touring Car Stock, Christian Stöckl swept the race with the TQ, fastest lap and the overall win ahead of Lorenzo Bigi and Martin Stöckl.

The race was also a joint event with the sixth and final round of the Italian GT12 Series 2019. Alessio Mota came out on top of the overall ranking of the Series after a super close battle with teammate Mattia Dall’Oca. Luca Tassinari completed the final podium.
