Midland Indoor Carpet Championship – Report

The opening round of the Midland Indoor Carpet Championship MiCC was held in Telford, UK this past weekend. The event attracted over 130 entries and in the premier Touring Modified class it was Xray’s Elliott Harper with the overall TQ and also the win in the single 5-minute A-main event, leaving behind Schumacher’s Olly Jefferies in 2nd and Awesomatix driver, Ben Cosgrove in 3rd.

Touring 13.5T Super Stock saw new ARC signing, Zak Finlay taking the TQ and also the win, a narrow 0.4 second in front of Awesomatix’s Billy Fletcher. Schumacher’s James Hart came in 3rd to round out the podium. In Touring 17.5T Stock it was Jimmy Maddison with the TQ and win a lap in front of Dave Sedgwick while Michael Ball rounded out the top 3 result.
