2019 Australian GP On-Road National Champs – Report

The 2019 Australian Nitro On-Road GP National Championships were held at RRCSA in Littlehampton, Adelaide last weekend. In 1/8th scale it was Jesse Davis taking the TQ spot over Luke Duthie in 2nd and Steven Jovanovic in 3rd. In the main final it was factory Infinity driver Jesse Davis comfortably taking the win over 2nd placed Nick Salib (Infinity) by five laps and making up the podium in 3rd was Capricorn’s Steven Jovanovic.

In Touring Car it was Andrew Shapland with the top qualifier spot, 2nd was Steven Jovanovic and 3rd went to Brayden Stanley. The main final was an epic battle early with factory Capricorn driver Steven Jovanovic grabbing the win, Mugen’s Tim Moylan taking 2nd three laps down and making up the podium was young Brayden Stanley (Infinity) in 3rd. Unfortunately TQ Andrew Shapland was out early with engine issues.

Thanks to Steven Jovanovic for the report.
