Heat of America Series Rd5 – Report

Round 5 of the Heart of America Series was held this past weekend in 1/8th Open, 1/10th 200mm Nitro Sedan, and 1/8th GT classes. 1/8th Open would see John Peck with the overall TQ, however it was Jason Reger (Capricorn) with the win in the A-main, some nine laps in front of fellow Capricorn racer, Chris Nichols. Bob Block (Mugen) came in 3rd overall, another three laps down.

Nitro Sedan would see Tony Block (Capricorn) with the overall TQ but it was 4th place qualifier, Jay Hines with the win some two laps in front of Tony. Jayden Reger (Xray) ended the race in 3rd.

Over in 1/8th GT Don Drodz lead an all-Serpent top 3 with Mark Zitzlsperger and Patrick Werner coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
