Densford & MacDonald complete ROAR Committee
ROAR, the sanctioning body for RC racing in the United States & Canada, has announced the completion of its Executive Committee with the appointments of Brent Densford as Competition Director and Lance MacDonald as Promotions Director. Under the guidance of new President Clayton Young, ROAR appears to be on a much overdue positive trajectory and the latest appointments should be a boost to national championship racing and the bobby in general. Densford is the owner of Beach RC while MacDonald has vast experience in race organisation and so their combined experience and knowledge should assist ROAR in being more more proactive in the promotion of the hobby as opposed to just being a rule enforcer.
It is with enormous pride I’m pleased to announce we have finally filled ROAR’s executive committee. These new two members come with tons of experience and will bring huge expertise to the committee.First we have Brent Densford volunteering for Competition Director. As competition director he will be responsible for presenting tracks for national races to the committee, as well as contracts with tracks for nationals and worlds.Next we have Lance MacDonald volunteering for Promotions Director. As promotion director he will be responsible for promoting the sport around the country, as well as coming up with new eventive ways to promote nationals.Please take time as you see these two around the country to thank them and give them ideas as we continue to make ROAR better.
