MOD Live Media Worlds broadcast team announcement

With less than 2-weeks to go until the IFMAR 1:10 Offroad World Championship gets underway at Hobby Action RC Raceway in Chandler, Arizona, our friends over at MOD Live Media has announced the voices of their live broadcast from the event.  As the official live broadcast partner of these World Championships, MOD Live Media founder Matt Olson has brought together Richard Lake, Zachary Rogers and Wayne Ashmore who bring a wide array of knowledge with their combined 90+ years in the hobby.  Olson is confident each of these announcers will bring a certain flare, style, and uniqueness that will add some fun as well as insight to the broadcast.  While MOD’s video cameras will stream all the track action live, Red RC will be in Arizona too having teamed up with Ruddog Racing to bring our readers in-dept reports and images to tell the stories of how the 4WD and 2WD titles are decided.

Words from Richard: “Excited to say the least to be on the Broadcast Announcing Team! I have raced just about everything from Norcca to Roar events since 1984 (yes I’m that old) and I have announced many Cactus Classics, Top Gun Shootout and since Hobby Action has opened I guess you can call me the Voice of of the races. I am sure this will be one hell of an event for anyone in house or watching on-line!”

Words From Zach: “Awesome to be apart of this MOD Media Puzzle of announcers! I have been racing for well over 15 years and have been fortunate enough to meet many of my best friends in life through RC. In my years in RC I was able to build a pretty successful amateur Racing Carrier (actually raced my first IFMAR Worlds in 2011 hosted in Finland) this lead to a profession as the team manager for Kyosho America, getting to live the RC Dream for a few years traveling all over the world doing what I loved. I will be using what knowledge I have in the industry over the years to add to this awesome team. Talk soon guys.”

Wayne Ashmore

Words From Wayne: “Now this is going to be a blast! I have been racing for the better part of my life back all the way to 84! Living in Vegas I race directed for the Las Vegas RC Offroad Club at Western RC and when moving to Bakersfield was a staple announcer at Racers Haven. I’ve Race directed the West Coast Dirt Oval National for 9 years and helped out at a few JBRLs on the West Coast. I look forward to co-commentating and working with the team in just a few weeks.”
