Ingholm & Johannessen win Norwegian Nationals RD4

ARC/RCMN drivers Albin Ingholm and Helge Johannessen emerged as winners in their respective classes at the 4th & final round of the Norwegian Touring Car Nationals, with Ingholm winning the Modified class and Johannessen taking the top spot in the Stock class.  In Modified, Xray’s Mathias Nedrebø claimed the TQ, edging out Albin Ingholm by 0.6 seconds.  The top three in qualifying was completed by the Awesomatix of Geir Bjarte Terum.  In the finals, Nedrebø won A1 by a blistering 4 seconds.  A2 offered thrilling battles, with Ingholm taking the lead halfway into the race, ultimately winning by a razor-thin margin of 0.4 seconds.  The tension escalated in A3 as both Ingholm and Nedrebø were determined to leave their mark on the weekend.  Ingholm wasted no time and took the lead on the first lap. Ingholm was slowly able to create a gap of about 1 second, but Nedrebø made a mistake on the last few laps, allowing Ingholm to cruise to victory with a margin of almost 5 seconds.  Alexander Gjemble  driving a Schumacher completed the podium.

Meanwhile, in the Stock class Helge Johannessen showcased his skills, securing the TQ, a remarkable 5 seconds ahead of his competitor, Marcus Gundersen.  The ARC of Lars A. Andersen completed the Top 3 at the end of qualifying.  In the finals, Johannessen continued his dominant performance and secured the first-place finish in all three A-mains, with Awesomatix Vidar Gundersen climbing from 5th to 3rd overall behind Gundersen’s Awesomatix.
