2024 Speed King Tour Rd5 – Report
Round 5 of the popular Japanese based Speed King Tour 2024 sponsored by Rakusei Model was held at Twin Ring Honguu in Aichi prefecture. Although the day was cloudy and the conditions were difficult with occasional rain showers, the high level of racing attracted spectators with hotly contested battles in all three classes. In the TC0 class (Modified) A-Final, Infinity driver Ryosuke Yamamoto showed outstanding car control and drove a race that was unmatched by any other competitor to take the win. Xpress’ Masaya Okazaki took second while the Tamiya of Takara Sano got last position of the podium.
Masaki Tsuboi maintained a steady pace from the early stages of the race and he kept that position to the finish of the TC1 class (Stock) A-Main. Toshihiko Hara chased Tsuboi from start to finish but he could not find the way to overtake. Masaaki Honda finished third from 4th grid of start.
In TC2 class, which uses a G Force motor & ESC combo, Takahiro Okamoto won a fierce battle in the final stages of the race to take the victory. He was joined on the podium by Naoaki Danshita and Masaaki Tachibana in third place.
Next and final round of Speed King Tour 2024 will take place at World JAM racing track in Gumma prefecture in 24th of November.
