Avid XB2 ’24/25 Arm Mounts | Rear Roll Center Holder

Avid Racing Concepts is testing the market with a limited release of a number of new aftermarket parts for the Xray XB2 ’24/25 1:10 2WD Buggy.  The -2° C Arm Mount was first innovated by the US company for the B6.3 and has turned into a must-have if you are racing on high bite surfaces such as carpet or turf.  This mount frees up the vehicle in the turns and when landing jumps sideways such as corner tabletops. Typically, to get to the low rear toe settings that you need on carpet, you have to start narrowing the pills through the D Mount which is increasing side bite by decreasing your track-width.  Their C Arm mount prevents that from happening by widening the C pivot block, thus starting you at 1 deg of rear toe with centered pills on the C and D mount instead of 3.

The -2° Narrow D Arm Mount for the XB2 is one way to get to less toe the Xray way by narrowing the D mount like they do with their 1 degree mount.  Even though Avid don’t believe this is the best way to do this because you are essentially trying to get less rear traction but at the same time narrowing the rear end.  This is why Avid made their innovative -2 Wide C Arm Mount for several vehicles.  They just made this one since this is what all Xray drivers are used to.  This mount frees up the vehicle in the turns and when landing jumps sideways such as corner tabletops.  When running this mount, when you are running the pills in the centered position you will be at 1 degree of rear toe instead of 3.  Instead of calling 1 degree like Xray does, Avid choose to stick with the conventional naming we already use by telling you how many degrees it removes.  The Arm Mount C was made if you would like to match it with one of Avid’s other D Mounts while the Arm Mount D was made if you would like to match it with one of their other C Mounts.  Each is matte black anodised and laser etched with the Avid logo.

The Rear Roll-Center Holder for the XB2 replaces the kit plastic mount for more durability and precision when setting your rear camber.  It is matte black anodised and laser etched with our logo.

New machined Shock Spacers fit the recent 13.2mm for the Xray XB2 and XB4 ’24.  They are machined with a Swiss lathe so they are perfectly true and from a self-lubricating plastic to ensure they are super smooth while maintaining strength.

The Machined 13.2mm pistons for the new Xray big bore shocks are the thicker 2.5mm style.  They offer a conventional setup but with a perfectly machined round piston and square 90° edges for a tight-fitting piston that has little blow-by creating more pack on jumps.  The Xray ground piston only comes in blanks and it has a slight indention cut on the top taking away from its total thickness.  Over the years Avid have developed a process of keeping all the edges sharp with little to no burrs to keep your confidence high when landing big jumps.
