Team Losi Racing 2025 Racing Announcement
With much talk in racing circles about Team Losi Racing’s future commitment to competitive racing, the famed brand has just made an announcement on its ‘New Vision’ for 2025. In the announcement the offroad manufacturer, which is part of the RC model industry giant Horizon Hobby, state that for 2025 they are committed to developing a new 2WD platform including a Stadium Truck while also ‘refreshing’ its 4WD, and ‘refining’ the 8X. The announcement opens on the subject its race team stating that as the ‘racing landscape continues to evolve’ they are evolving their race team program ‘to ensure its sustainability, growth, and long-term success’. While winners of a World Championship as recently as 2023, when Tater Sontag took the 2WD Buggy title at Hobby Action in Arizona, TLR has not been the force it once was in racing so lets hope this announcement results in TLR being back at the forefront of international offroad competition once again.
An Exciting New Vision
TLR is thrilled to share an exciting new vision for our future. As the racing landscape continues to evolve, we’re evolving our race team program to ensure its sustainability, growth, and long-term success.
First, we’d like to introduce our all-new 2025 Ambassador program through Hook-it. This program will let us identify drivers who not only excel on the track but also bring value off the track. helping us grow TLR and competitive RC racing.
We’re also committed in 2025 to developing our new 2WD platform including stadium truck, refreshing 4WD, and refining the 8X. We’ll sponsor key races and offer a six figure Racer Payout Program (RPP), in addition to multiple levels of racer sponsorship to further empower our community. If you want to join the Ambassador program or have your race included in our RPP program, watch for applications to be posted in December.
Throughout our 45-year history, TLR has strived to push beyond the traditional and embrace what’s next. This has been the driving force behind everything we do. From the game-changing 8IGHT in 2007 to the pioneering 22 in 2011, we have consistently forged our own path and reimagined what’s possible. The spirit of innovation that helped us reach these milestones now inspires this bold shift from the traditional approach to RC racing. It solidifies the leadership of TLR in the RC Industry.
