Capelli 1:12 Titanium Ball Diff Upgrade Kit

Australian manufacturer Capelli, who last year brought us the F1-RR 1:10 Formula 1 chassis, has released a new 1:12 Titanium ball differential upgrade kit which has been 13-months in development.  Reducing rotational mass of the assembly, utilising Titanium rings that are machine lapped to absolute flatness and treated twice in Ultra hard TiN coating.  The diameter of the rings is such that the face of the spur gear is covered preventing ingress of debris into the balls.  Supplied with the highest grade of ‘roundness’ Zirconium 1/8” balls, the assembly can then be tensioned using the Titanium carrier (anodised) housing a thrust bearing and titanium bevel washers, fastened by a lightweight Nylon M4 nut.
