Team Associated RC10TC8 Electric Touring Car

Having almost broke the internet when they turned up to the IFMAR ISTC World Championships last November, confirming their return to the competition electric touring car market by competing with a prototype TC8, Team Associated has finally launched the production kits of the RC10TC8.  Offering a Graphite-Spec or Steel-Spec Team Kit, built new from the ground up the TC8’s entirely new geometry represents a paradigm shift in on-road performance.  Long arm pivot ball suspension, meticulously balanced weight distribution, and an ultra-low centre of gravity combined to create a touring car that’s both planted and incredibly responsive.  This is the core of the TC8’s vision for the future of touring cars, offering unprecedented tuning capabilities.  From the high-capacity differential to the ultra-short shocks, every component works in harmony.  The one-piece servo mount and bell crank assembly deliver laser-like steering precision, while adjustable KPI ensures an unparalleled connection to the track, regardless of conditions.

Xray XB8 Carbon Steering Block Plates

Xray has released 1-dots & 2-dots carbon extensions for the steering blocks on its XB8 1:8 Buggy.  Offering different geometry alternatives, using the 1-dots means the outside wheels are turning more, making the car more aggressive and help to increase overall steering while the 2-dots the outside wheels are turning less, making the car less aggressive.  Overall the carbon extensions allows for easy Ackermann position adjustment for fine-tuning on all surfaces and track conditions.  CNC-machined from premium high-grade carbon fibre material made in USA, the steering block carbon extensions work on either left or right side and come as a set of 2.

Racing Performer DX2 Type-R Brushless Motor

New from Yokomo’s Racing Performer electrics line comes a new second generation of its popular DX series brushless drifting motors. The colourful anodised DX2 series is a high-revving Type-R specification available in four colours (blue, purple, red and black) and three different gear ratios from 11.5T to 15.5T. The 11.5T DX2 prototype was used by Team Yokomo’s KAI to win the world-class WTDC drifting event in Malaysia last year, and its performance is already well documented. The slightly softer 13.5T is easy to use on P-tile surfaces and the more torquey 15.5T has a different rotor size to complete the power feel.
