Nikos Georgiadis wins at Greek XWS Rd4

The fourth round of the Greek Xray Winter Series was held at the FRT track in Athens in the three classes of Touring Modified, Formula and 1/10th Pan Car. Especially the Touring class was a super close affair in qualifying with Thilo Tödtmann and Nikos Georgiadis battling it out for the TQ spot. Nikos looked like he would grab the pole position for the A-mains until Thilo took profit of servo issues Nikos experienced in the final qualifier. Behind the two Batas would line up in third on the grid.

6. Diamantis – Xray

The opening A-main then saw Thilo taking the win from the pole position but Nikos stroke back in A2 and A3 after some super close battles. So Thilo ended the day on the runner-up spot in front of Batas who matched his qualifying result.

The field of Formula drivers showed very even performances throughout the field and it was Niotis (Xray) who grabbed the TQ and the pole position for the finals. The A-mains then had Niotis again coming out fastest, leaving Maricholas (VBC) and Panagiotopoulos (Xray) behind in second and third respectively.

3. Panagiotopoulos – Xray
4. Diamantis – Xray
5. Kakarikos – HPI
6. Christidis – Tamiya

Finally in the Pan Car class it was Gavriilidis (Yokomo) who brought home the win from Moros (Xray) and Moros (Xray) in second and third respectively. The top 5 would be rounded out by Kazoglou (Xray) and Tzimourtas (Xray).
