Kyosho expands Optima 2016 option parts range

Kyosho have expanded their range of optional parts for the Optima 2016 re-release 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. First up is a CNC-machined aluminium motor plate. The part is of a greatly updated design compared to the stock motor plate as it offers a heatsink design that will reduce the motor temperatures while the gun metal anodising improves the visual appearance compared to the standard silver alloy part.

Next up is a carbon fibre radio plate. Cut from high-quality material the part replaces the standard fibre glass plate for a more sturdy and cooler looking alternative. Also new is a range of suspension upgrades, first up is a front and rear stabiliser set that includes all needed mounting hardware. It is understood that these parts also fit the original 1980’s Optimas. Adding both a bit of bling and also durability are the new aluminium front C-hubs and rear uprights. The suspension parts sport a gun metal anodising, they come as pairs and are available separately to replace the standard composite pieces. Made to replace the standard front and rear dogbone driveshafts are the universal swing shafts. They improve the drivetrain efficiency, reduce wheel chatter at high steering angles and they are usable both at the front and the rear of the buggy. Also new is the aluminium servo saver conversion. Ball raced and made from anodised aluminium the assembly improves steering precision and durability. Last but not least comes a 4-piece set of aluminium radio plate posts. The parts replace the standard composite parts for more durable and visually appealing items.
