Gosvig & Hovgaard take Danish EP buggy titles

The seventh and final round of the Danish Electric Off-road Nationals was recently held and in the 4WD class the championship was already decided with Xray’s Mike Gosvig having taken the title going into the final round. Mike wanted to end the season on a high though and by taking five of the five qualifiers he grabbed the TQ spot for the A-main events. Sunday mains day and Mike wasn’t able to take over his qualifying performance as the weather was changing all of the time, making the race a gamble. At the end Team C driver Jan Larsen would walk away with the day’s win from Frederik Hovgaard (Yokomo) in second and Mike Gosvig in third.

2. Frederik Hovgaard – Yokomo
3. Mike Gosvig – Xray
4. Kim Nielsen – Schumacher
5. Mathias Skaarup – Schmacher
6. Christian Lassen – Schumacher
7. Oliver Nielsen – Yokomo
8. Martin Rasmussen – Schumacher

Overall in the championship and behind Mike, Frederik Hovgaard ended the season in second from Team Associated’s Jesper Rasmussen. In the 2WD class Frederik Hovgaard (Yokomo) took the TQ and the pole position for the triple A-mains and ultimately he would take the day’s win from Jesper Rasmussen (Team Associated) and Mike Gosvig.

5. Marcus Kærup – Team Associated

As for the championship, Frederik also grabbed the overall title from Jesper and Mike.
