Malaysia National Championship finale – Report

The sixth and final round of the Malaysia National Championships was recently held with about 80 drivers attending in the Touring Modified, Super Stock and Stock classes. In Touring Modified TQ holder Adik Haikal (Xray) would bring home the day’s win from Norazam (Xray) and Michael Lim (Xray). Shahrin (Yokomo) and Wong Kok Wai (Awesomatix) would round out the top 5 result.

In the Super Stock class Destiny driver Michael Lo walked away with the win from Naz Nizal (Yokomo) and Nana (Xray). Aref Arif (Xray) and Dixon (Yokomo) came in fourth and fifth respectively.

Finally in the Stock class it was Yokomo’s Sham Arop who took the win at round six from Billy Cheah (Destiny) and Shukri (Tamiya).

Overall in the Modified class championship it was Azri Amri (Xray) to take the championship title from Sharin (Yokomo) and Norazam (Xray).

Super Stock 13.5T Boosted saw Max Teo (Destiny) taking the title from Naz Nizal (Yokomo) and Nana (Xray). Finally in Stock 13.5T non-boosted Awesomatix driver Dino grabbed the title from Ryan Tan (Xray) and Marcus Tan (RGT).
