Ryan Cavalieri dominates 2016 Top Gun Shootout

SDRC Raceway of San Diego, California held the 2016 Top Gun Shootout this past weekend. After qualifying was complete, Ryan Cavalieri would take the TQ in 2WD Modified Buggy and Modified Truck while 4WD Modified Buggy was lead by his teammate Rivkin Spencer Rivkin. Cavalieri went onto win A-mains one and two of 2WD Modified Buggy to take home his first title of the weekend.

2WD Modified Buggy top 3:
1. Ryan Cavalieri – Team Associated/Team Orion/Team Orion/Team Orion
2. Spencer Rivkin – Team Associated/Reedy/Reedy/Reedy
3. Brent Thielke – Team Associated/Reedy/Reedy/Reedy

Ryan then also won A-Mains two and three of 4WD Modified Buggy to take home his second title from top qualifier Spencer Rivkin and third placed Nathan Bernal.

4WD Modified Buggy top 3:
1. Ryan Cavalieri – Team Associated/Team Orion/Team Orion/Team Orion
2. Spencer Rivkin – Team Associated/Reedy/Reedy/Reedy
3. Nathan Bernal – Team Associated/Reedy/Reedy/Reedy

Ryan then finished off the weekend in style by taking the convincing win in the Modified Truck single A-Main to complete the sweep.

2. Brent Thielke – Team Associated/Reedy/Reedy/Reedy
