Xray Racing Series Germany Rd1 – Report

The opening round of the Xray Racing Series Germany was held this past weekend at the Eifelring in Leimbach. In the 13.5T Touring Stock class, run on Xray spec tyres, Majuran Tharmalingam (Serpent) took the win from Jörg Baldes (Xray) and Melvin Diekmann (Xray).

1/12th 10.5T had Jacques Libar (CRC) from Luxembourg taking the pole position after the qualifiers and he would also score the overall win after coming out fastest in A1 and A2 while also clocking the fastest lap of the race. Bernd Wiesenberger (CRC) came in second, Sven Stoffels completed the top 3 result. In the Formula class it was again Jacques Libar who set the pace by being the only driver to score 29 laps runs. Daniel Schneider and Andreas Seyfriedt had to settle for second and third respectively.
