Yokomo YZ-2DTM Ryan Maifield edition 2WD buggy

Yokomo have introduced the new YZ-2DTM Ryan Maifield edition 2WD buggy kit. Based off of the “dirt specific” YZ-2DT, the kit however utilises a laydown transmission as found in the carpet kit to better suit today’s high-grip dirt tracks. Additionally the DTM comes with a new rear shock tower brace, it features height adjustable rear hub carriers with fine 0.5mm increments,  and it comes with new high-grip specific steering hub carriers. The kit is rounded out by updated ball ends for smoother and more reliable operation and it includes a JConcepts S2 bodyshell and Aero rear wing. The kit will become available by beginning of April.

Also new and made for the above YZ-2DTM is a stand-up gearbox conversion. It includes all needed parts to convert the kit into stand-up gearbox configuration that is better suited for all low to medium-bite tracks while also allowing to run higher roll-centre settings. The kit includes a new gearbox, motor mount plate, rear shock tower, waterfall, wing mounts and battery mounting plate.
