Caroli & Laubscher crowned SA 1/12th champions

The 2018 season of the South African On-Road Electric National Championship for the 1/12th scale class recently concluded and it was Xray’s Antonio Caroli who managed to retain the Modified class title. Antonio took the overall win following a great battle with Marius van Niekerk (Xray) on the runner-up spot as Shaun Schutte (Xray) rounded out the top 3 results.

In 1/12 Stock 13.5T, the series was dominated by youngster Francois Laubscher (Xray) who secured the title after round 3. There was a good battle between Pat Lester, Brandon Solomon and Bianka Landman for the remaining podium positions with Patrick Lester (Xray) and Bianka Landman (Xray) ultimately snatched the final top 3 spots.
