Rose & van Huth win at Central German season finale
The final Central German IC Track outdoor race of the year was held at the Wachterbach track, also known as Little Monaco. Three classes and dry weather made for competitive racing and in the fastest of the three, 1/8th IC track class 1, it was Philip Sting on pole position after qualifying, with Dominik Schrumpf in 2nd spot and veteran racer, Hartmut Rose in 3rd position. The long 30-minute race went very well, and after some trouble for the leaders, Hartmut took the win by his first ever class 1 race with a two lap margin from Jörg Waeldle and Philip Sting.
In the 1/8th IC Track class 2 Andreas van Huth took the pole position, despite arriving later at the track, with a one lap margin in front of Christian Willert and Klaus Kowenig. At the end of the 30-minute race, Andreas took the win with a seven lap margin in front of Detlef Dickes and Christian Willert. Special mention goes to 8 years old driver Julian Krajuszek who claimed the 6th place overall in his first race ever.
