Roche Rapide P12V2
1:12 World Championship winning manufacturer Roche has announced the release of the V2 version of its Rapide P12 1:12 chassis which was originally released at the end of 2023. Based on a new 7075 aluminium main chassis design that has narrower shape on front to reduce ground touch, the latest car features new design aluminium lightweight motor mount and left bulkhead, a new lower mounting position upper pod plate. Updated center pivot and rear pod geometry help improve initial steering. The Rapide P12V2 also gets new design front graphite lower arm with lightweight pivot ball and a new graphite stiff front brace for high traction tracks with an optional flex front brace for low traction. Also new on the car are 7075 aluminium lightweight kingpins and a single piece steering knuckle with pre-built POM insert with M3 screw front wheel axle. A design servo mounting position allowing servo centering adjustment using the groove in the chassis. Further improvements come in the form of a 12 thread holes carbon rear solid axle that fits for most spur gear from different brands while ultra long side link provides more consistent corner and new design aluminium side spring mounts simplify outer/inner position adjustment. Finally the 7075 aluminum lightweight wheel hub has been updated for M3 thread wheel screws.
