Jesse Munn doubles at Northwest Buggy Champs

This past weekend Northwest Buggy Championships took place in Pasco, Washington. It was a 2 day event with Friday being a practice day and Saturday consisting of 3 rounds of qualifying with the qual points format, then triple A-Mains for electric and a 20 minute nitro main in the evening. While the overall turnout was a little less than expected, the quality of drivers in attendance was great and the racing intense. In 4WD Modified Buggy Jesse Munn TQ’d both of the first 2 rounds to secure the overall top qualifier position without having to run the 3rd round. In the triple A Mains Jesse went 3,1,1 to take the overall win from Mikey Hudson and John Walentia.

In 1/8 Nitro Buggy Jesse also TQ’d the first 2 rounds of qualifying to wrap up the overall TQ. In the 20 minute main the Kyosho driver led every single lap and won by about 16 seconds over local racer and fellow Kyosho driver Darren Shank while TLR’s Darren Hill completed the top 3.
