JBRL Nitro Series Rd4 – Report

The 4th round of this year’s Jimmy Babcock Racing League Nitro Series was held at Heritage R/C Park in Chula Vista. While Ryan Cavalieri (Team Associated) came out successful in the supporting 1/8th E-Buggy class, Drew Moller (Mugen), Adam Drake (TLR) and Cody Smith (TLR) formed the Expert Nitro Buggy podium.

In Expert Nitro Truggy TLR’s Ryan Maifield took the win from Mugen driver Drew Moller, while Cody King (Kyosho) completed the top 3 result.

The Intermediate Buggy class was won by Victor Guerrero (TLR) while the Mugen duo of Fred Steele and Jeff Eide came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

In Intermediate Truggy it was again Alex Guerrero who took the winning honours, this time followed by Aaron Gomez (Mugen) and Matt Wolter (Tekno).

The Sportsman Buggy win went to Jose Castelan (TLR) from Kory Steele (Mugen) and Ivan Moreno (Tekno).

In Sportsman Truggy Kory and Jose swapped positions for a win of Kory in front of Jose and Victor Pintado.

Last but not least in 40+ Buggy Don Vinkemulder put his TLR buggy in 1st position followed by Fred Steele (Mugen) and Robert Wickham (TLR).
