Spanish EP on-road national federations Rd2 – Report

The 2nd and final round of the Spanish national federations series was held under changing weather conditions which caused some headache for the pilots of the three classes of Touring Car Modified, Stock and Formula 1. In the Modified class Gonzalo Garcia (Yokomo) took the day’s win from CSO driver Sergio Gomez in 2nd and David Bustos (TOP) in 3rd place. In the overall championship Gonzalo Garcia grabbed the title from runner-up David Bustos (TOP) and David Lara (TOP) in 3rd place.

The Stock category had Hector Albaracin (MD Racing) coming out successful in the 2nd round from TOP driver Rafael Ortiz and Schumacher driver Guillem Diaz. The overall championship title went to Isaac Cuevas (Yokomo) who left Rafael Ortiz (TOP) and Mario Perez (TOP) behind in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Finally in the Formula 1 class Ivan de la Calle (Yokomo) took the round and overall win. Santiago Sabuco (Tamiya) came in 2nd, Tony Alama (MD Racing) rounded out the top 3 result of the second round. In the overall championship Tony Alma (MD Racing) took the runner-up spot behind Ivan while David Lara (TOP) completed the season in 3rd place.
