Cody Turner doubles at JBRL Electric Season Opener

The 2015 JBRL Electric Series kicked off the season at IERC in Southern California this past weekend. The 1-Day JBRL race format with over 300 entries meant for a long day but once the sun set and the mains had been raced Cody Turner led the premier 2WD Modified Buggy class with Dylan Nelson in a close 2nd and Shawn Blackwell Sr. in 3rd.

In the 4WD Modified Buggy division it was again Cody who came out successful, this time in front of Rudy Rico and Dylan Nelson.

Modified Truck saw Matt Gilbert taking the win from Andrew Smolnik in 2nd and Ryan Dunford, who rounded out the podium in 3rd.

The 2WD Modified Short Course class had Andrew Smolnik walking away with the win from Tyler Fenster in 2nd and Ken Johns in 3rd.

In Expert 4WD Short Course Rudy Rico took the win from Casper in 2nd and Nick Miller in 3rd while in 1/8th E-Buggy it was again the duo Rudy and Casper who came in 1st and 2nd. 3rd in the class would be young David Jenson.
