Georgiadis & Dimitriou win at Greek On-Road series

The 2nd round of Greek Touring Series and the 3rd round of Greek Nitro Series was held at the Fanatix racing track in cold, medium grip conditions. The day started with the GTS’ electric touring car class and right from the start Georgiadis made his intentions clear to end the day on the top spot. He won all qualification rounds and nobody was able to match the times he set. At the end he took the TQ in front of Isaakides and teammate Papachristos.

In the finals Georgiadis went on to win the first two legs to take the day’s win early. Behind him Papachristos and Isaakides battled for the runner-up spot with the better end for Papachristos who left Isaakides behind in 3rd.

The day continued with the GNS nitro class. The main final was won by Dimitriou with 139 laps and a fastest lap of 17.9s. The 2nd place went to Pilichos while Karageorgiou ended the 45 minute final sitting in 3rd pace, making this his first podium appearance. The winner of Junior class was Theodoropoulos who competed with his father’s car who opted not to race but to help his son.
