Adam Drake sweeps JBRL Nitro Series Rd2

Palm Desert RC Raceway hosted round two of the popular JBRL Nitro Series with the event attracting some 200 entries and a good mixture of World-class drivers and local talent. Adam Drake was top qualifier in the Expert Nitro Buggy and Nitro Truck classes. In the premier 1/8th Nitro Buggy class final Mugen driver Drake took the win from Kyosho’s Cody King in 2nd and TLR driver Mark Pavidis who finished in 3rd.

In the Expert 1/8th Truck class Adam Drake again controlled the race and took the win by nearly a lap over 2nd place finisher Cody King (Kyosho) and Brian Sullivan (TLR) in 3rd. In the 1/8th E-Buggy class it was again Adam with his Mugen buggy who took the win followed by Brian Sullivan (TLR) and Steve Harris (Mugen).
