Xtreme Racing have introduced a 4-piece carbon fibre body panel kit for the Losi Rock Rey. The set includes a roof, hood and two side panels all of which are cut from high-quality 1.2mm carbon fibre for a low weight and cool looks. The parts are direct replacements for the standard panels and also available separately for spares or repair.

Team Associated have introduced black edition MyLaps lap counting transponders. The Hybrid (2-wire) transponder is the same size and features many of the same specs as the RC4 transponder, but it is backwards compatible with older decoder boxes. This transponder does not support car ID numbers. It is compatible with all AMBrc2 decoder boxes and MyLaps RC3 and RC4 decoder boxes. The RC4 (3-wire) transponder is the latest in the line of transponders from MyLaps. The RC4 transponder supports car ID numbers so you can have the same transponder number in all your cars, with a different ID for each. The RC4 transponder also gives additional telemetry data such as voltage to the transponder and transponder temperature each time the loop is crossed. This transponder will only work on RC4 decoder boxes with version 4 firmware or higher.

Modelix Racing have announced the signing of João “Litos” Figueiredo to their 2018 world racing team. João is a well-known and very talented Portuguese off-road driver who will be using the Nitrolux Ultimate Fuel generation by for the 2018 and 2019 season.

Revolution Design Racing Products’ new 30g Ultra brass shorty battery weight is machined from high-quality brass material and it comes in a black and golden finish for cool looks. The plate can be used in pretty much every vehicle that accepts shorty-style LiPo batteries and it comes in handy to fine-tune the weight distribution or to add weight when using lightweight low centre of gravity shorty packs. The plate also lowers the car’s overall centre of gravity for improved cornering performance on both low and high grip surfaces.
JConcepts have announced the 2018 edition of their popular Indoor National Series. Now in its eighth year and with over 7,500 entries and counting, the JConcepts Indoor National Series has become the race for racers to showcase their driving skills on a national level while testing themselves against some of the industry’s best drivers. At the core, the INS remains unchanged, but is devoted to raising the standard for 2018 in terms of series participation, factory driver representation, and professionalism. The distinct 5-race series takes on the seasonal format of Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall Nationals races that will be held at fixed locations while the final race will serve as the ‘End of year bash’ and series championship presentation. For 2018, the Stadium and SCT classes have been simplified. To help bring new life to the events, the truck classes will be formatted around the 13.5 motor. Now, with Stadium and SCT classes available in a new power package, racers have fresh classes to race alongside the already popular 13.5 4WD class. In addition, the success of the Independent classes on the Super Cup Championship Series has driven JC to add this offering on the National Series. Made for their XB2 and XT2 series of off-road vehicles are Xray’s new carbon fibre chassis side guard braces. The parts install to the front side guards and allow to fine-tune chassis stiffness by using different amounts of screws to fasten them to the lower composite chassis guards in order to create soft, medium or stiff settings. The braces are machined from high-quality fibre material and include new moulded upper plate connectors.

Coming soon from Reds Racing is their new X-One off-road exhaust system. It features an innovative design with the exhaust pipe coming welded to the manifold in order to improve performance and fuel consumption. Furthermore with the new X-One layout there is no need of using or replacing springs or gaskets which equals better reliability and tuning stability. The exhaust system is set for a release in March and more information and images should become available in time for the release.

Round four of the Xray Racing Series Poland was held in Lodz with close to a 100 drivers signed in for the event. The track laid out with EOS-style was super fast with a few jumps adding even more challenges. Young Xray driver Bartek Zalewski absolutely dominated the 4WD class that he ultimately TQ’d and won from teammate Jakub Luczak 2nd and Bartlomiej Kramza (Schumacher) 3rd.
