Xray XB8 69mm 5-dots front spring

Coming from Xray and made for the XB8 range of 1/8th off-road buggies is the new 5-dots progressive front spring. The hardest in the range so far, the spring is best used on high traction tracks were it can improve corner entry steering. Specially developed the progressive spring will become more linear under compression for excellent feeling and feedback in all track conditions. It comes as pair, marked for easy identification and inspected and matched for best possible accuracy.

Yeah Racing YD2 aluminium servo & gyro mount

Yeah Racing have introduced a combined servo and gyro mount for the Yokomo YD2 drift car. The item is machined from high-quality aluminium and it comes black anodised, with silver edge details and engraved logos. The sturdy design ensures a solid base for the steering servo while the upper gyro compartment allows to mount most industry-standard car gyros.

Philipp Huber wins at Carpet Masters Rd1

The HVBRS club of Islikon, Switzerland recently hosted the opening round of the Carpet Master series. Team Magic’s Philipp Huber was the man to beat in the Touring Car class as he took all three qualifiers and the triple finals to take the day’s win from Roland Kupper (Awesomatix) 2nd and Nuno Huber (Xray) 3rd.

Atsushi Hara wins at 2017 ITCMC

Huge RC Circuit of Bangkok, Thailand played host to the 2017 International Touring Car Manufacturers Championship last weekend. The event attracted about 70 entries to compete in several electric and nitro on-road classes. In the premier EP category of Touring Modified it was Meen V. with the TQ, however after the A-mains Atsushi Hara found himself on top of the podium with Surikarn C. and Mongol Span rounding out the top 3 result as Suphathat K. and
Tanit K. completed the top 5 podium.

Tamiya Porsche Turbo RSR 934 Black Edition TA-02SW

Coming in January is Tamiya’s re-release Porsche Turbo RSR Type 934 Black Edition on the iconic TA-02SW chassis. The chassis is the short wheelbase variant of Tamiya’s renown shaft-driven 4WD tub chassis that pretty much started the 190mm touring car crash back in the 1990’s. No official details are available yet but they are expected to surface in time for the release.

Exotek roll out new EB410 alloy & carbon options

Coming from Exotek and made for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4WD buggy are new aluminium and carbon fibre option parts. First up is a set of rear hubs machined from 7075 aluminium and matching the stock geometry. The hubs are of a heavy duty design for high-powered applications, they come in Tekno team colours and are machined a second time to ensure precise bearing fit.

Adam Drake wins at Toys for Tots race

Palm Desert R/C Raceway hosted the 13th Annual Toys for Tots Race this past weekend with the event having nearly 80 entries. In the Pro Buggy class Adam Drake set the pace in both rounds of qualifying and started first in the 25 minute final. Drake went on to win the 25-minute final followed by Mugen Seiki teammate Anthony Westergaard, and Team Associated’s Richard Saxton. Elsewhere in the electric buggy class Anthony Westergaard was the top qualifier and won the 10-minute final from Cole Jenson and Marcus Garrett.
