Exotek Yeti HDX aluminium chassis set

Coming from Exotek and made for the Axial Yeti 1/10th scale rock racer is the new HDX aluminium chassis set. The heavy duty 7075 alloy chassis will transform any project truck into a true trail dominator. The hard-anodised billet 7075 machined chassis adds about 55 grams of weight to the lowest part of the truck which dramatically lowers the centre of gravity which means less roll overs and increased traction over all terrains. Key design features include a 12mm narrower chassis width and smoothed bottom surface for reduced chassis snagging of terrain. The smooth inner chassis and open rear chassis design makes for less debris collecting and easier clean up after hitting the trail and a separate nose plate makes for easier maintenance. Carbon fibre upper plates add that factory racing look while lightweight, super adjustable and also more secure hook and loop battery straps hold the battery tight. Integrated, machined rear suspension link mounting directly to the chassis helps with precision and durability and a lowered ESC position and alloy servo mounts increase the truck’s performance. Not included in the conversion is the needed Axial 1/10th scale Yeti donor truck.

It was Luke Lee (Xray) setting the fastest time in all three rounds and claiming pole position with James Greener (Team Associated) in 2nd and Michael Lee (Xray) driving well to 3rd on the grid despite lack of running on carpet.
