Coming from Contact are all-new 1/8th nitro on-road tyres. Developed in conjunction with their international team drivers Simon Kurzbuch, Robert Pietsch and Tony Gruber the tyres are manufactured with new low sensitivity to high temperature material and they come on new black colour 5-spoke rims that offer a grub screw balancing system while being lightweight and more impact resistant. Hobbywing XeRun 3652 & 3660 SD G2 sensored motors

Hobbywing have introduced their new XeRun 3652 and 3660 SD G2 sensored brushless motors. Equipped with a built-in chip that lets Hobbywing XR8 series brushless controllers recognise the motor, the system will provide improved performance and smoother control in sensored mode. The motor is housed in a machined aluminium case with heatsink design for optimised heat dissipation and the low cogging design with 4-pole/8-magnet setup reduces cogging for improved driving feel at lower speeds. This is further helped by a special hall sensor system that ensures clean and “error free” hall sensor output signals. On top of this the motors feature an adjustable mechanical timing in a 20 to 40 degree range and they use silicone O-ring seals for sensor port protection. The shorter 3652 motor is available as 3100kv to 6100kv variant with 3.175mm or 5.0mm output shaft while the longer 3660 variant comes in 3200kv to 4300kv specification, exclusively with 5mm output shaft.

T-Works large diameter M3x4mm aluminium screws

Coming from T-Works are new large diameter M3x4mm aluminium screws. They are machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and come black anodised for wear. The 7mm diameter head makes the use of additional shims or washers unnecessary and the screws are ideal to securely hold the spur gear or steering bellcranks on cars such as the Yokomo BD8 or comparable vehicles.

Hobbywing XR10 Pro Stock Spec 1S speed controller

As announced in Jason Ruona’s video interview with U.S. Hobbywing representative Ron Schuur, Hobbywing have introduced the XR10 Pro Stock Spec 1S brushless speed controller. Based off of the standard Pro Stock, the 1S variant is aimed specifically towards single-cell 1/12th and 1/10th scale racing. Housed in a compact aluminium case with heatsink upper section the controller features five pre-set profiles for the most common applications but it is also highly customisable using Hobbywings LCD programming box, PC interface or WiFi Express module and a mobile device. The built-in on/off switch reduces wiring work and data logging capability makes drivetrain setup more convenient. The 80A rated ESC is only usable with 1S LiPo or three to four cell NiMH packs and it features a switch mode 6V/7.4V BEC system, doing away with the need to use additional receiver battery packs.
