GForce G4 multi charger

GForce have introduced the G4 multi charger for 2S to 4S LiXX and 6 to 8 cell NiXX batteries. The compact device measures 69.4×110.7×40.5mm and it offers easy menu operation using a single switch and a push button. With up to 4A charge current the charger is good for the use even with higher capacity batteries and a dedicated LiHV mode allows to charge the latest high-voltage Lithium-Polymer packs. Included comes a variety of adapter wires including ones with Tamiya-style, T-plug and BEC connectors.

Jesper Rasmussen TQs & wins at Winter Cup Rd3

The TMK Raceway indoor track in Sweden recently held round three of the poplar Winter Cup. The tight track meant the racers had to be on their toes all of the time with no place to rest. This, combined with few possibilities to overtake made for close racing. Jesper Rasmussen made the best out of the difficult conditions as he came out fastest after the controlled practice with Jessica Palsson and local driver Hampus Berg in second and third. Victor Gunnarsson rounded out the top 4 in the 2WD class and those four were set to battle it out for the overall win.

Nicolas Lee joins Protoform factory team

Protoform have announced the addition of 2016 ISTC World Finalist Nicholas Lee to their factory racing team. Nicholas’ track record across many different platforms of on-road racing makes him an ideal fit and Protoform look forward to having him represent the team in Asia and across the international racing scene at electric touring, nitro touring and 1/8 nitro events. Nicholas says:

O.S. Speed T1202 2.1cc touring car engine

The latest O.S. Speed engine to surface is the Speed T1202 1/10th scale touring car engine. With significant updates have been made to the original T1201, the latest version features improved torque, a tungsten-weighted crankshaft with diamond-like coating and a lighter piston for better performance over the whole RPM range. A thinker cylinder flange transfers heat more efficiently to the low-profile cooling head and a low-profile carburettor restrictor enables quicker throttle response from low to top. On top of this the engine offers improved mileage.

Protoform DB16 200mm touring car wing kit

New from Protoform comes the DB16 wing kit for 200mm touring cars. In combination with the PF SRS-N race body, this wing was used by Dario Balestri at the 2016 1/10 IC World Championship to TQ and set the pace for most of the event. Then, at the 2016 ROAR Fuel National Championships, JJ Wang took the overall TQ and win with the DB16 mounted on his P37-N. On the track it has been shown to add more traction and make 200mm sedans easier drive through high-speed corners. The wing fits all IFMAR/ROAR/EFRA specs and is formed from genuine 0.7mm Lexan. Included with the wing are two 50x35mm Lexan endplates and mounting hardware.

Arrowmax Tungsten Steel tool tips

Arrowmax have introduced their all-new tungsten steel tool tips. Made from a special material that offers the torsional flex characteristics of spring steel combined with a hardness higher than that of HSS steel, the tips offer the ultimate in durability which is further helped by the aircraft-grade titanium-nitride coating. The tips feature the Arrowmax logo for easy identification and they are available in a total of 14 sizes including metric 1.5mm to 5.0mm hexes, 2.0mm to 3.0mm ball hexes and also 1/16″, 5/64″ and 3/32″ imperial sizes. All tips are 100mm long and they fit Arrowmax’s own tool line and also many other brands.

JConcepts Indoor National Series 2017 – Announcement

JConcepts have announced the 7th year of the Indoor National Series. Wong Kok Wai wins at Suzuka RC Touring Challenge

The recent 2016 Suzuka RC Touring Challenge was organised by the Malaysian Pulau Pinang RC Club. The event was sponsored by an engine oil company and in the 13.5T Boosted Touring class it was Awesomatix driver Wong Kok Wai that took the win from the Xray duo of William Tiong and Michael Lim in second and third respectively.
