Hudy Air Vac vacuum pump aluminium tray

Hudy have announced the release of the Air Vac aluminium tray for the use with their Air Vac pump systems. The purpose designed Air Vac tray allows to integrate the Air Vac pump to create a perfect work station while rebuilding the shocks and differentials. The aluminium tray features four different compartments for accessories and hardware, a compartment for the Hudy Air Vac and machined holes for a shock absorber stand and differential holders. Machined pockets feature super-thin walls for light weight and stylish chamfered edges as well as laser-engraved Hudy graphics make the tray stand out on the pit table. The tray is designed to fit the #104002 Air Vac On-road and #104004 Air Vac 1/10 Off-road pumps that are not included and must be purchased separately.

Fenix X10 G56-X 235mm chassis conversion kit

Fenix have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming new G56-X 235mm chassis conversion kit for the Xray X10 pan car. The kit will retain the front suspension, motor bulkheads, shock absorbers, side dampers as well as other pits and pieces from the donor X10 while the V-link rear suspension is taken over from the original G56 design. Above image is showing a prototype and we bring you more details on the car as they become available.

Xray XB8 1-piece forward position wing holder

Coming from Xray and made for their XB8 series off-road vehicles is a forward position wing holder. The fully redesigned rear wing mount allows to place wing more frontwards which helps to improve rear downforce and traction. The super-slim, 1-piece design makes for reduced weight while increasing strength and the wing holder is made from a special composite mixture to withstand abuse and crashes. The mount is usable with the nitro and electric-powered XB8 buggies and XT8 trucks and to make full use of it, the vehicle’s wing need to be outfitted with a second row of wing mounting holes.

Rickside Design Products 22 5.0 DC Elite D mount

Japanese brand Rickside Design Products have introduced their new heavy duty aluminium D mount for the TLR 22 5.0 DC Elite buggy. The suspension hanger is machined from high-quality aluminium and it comes black anodised and with machined silver edge details. Due to its design it is a lot more durable compared to the stock part and it can be used with the standard composite suspension inserts.

StickIt1Racing Stock Series finale – Report

The final round of the StickIt1Racing Stock Series was held at PDX Underground in Portland, Oregon this week. In 13.5T 4WD Buggy it was Jim Meyer with the win from Daniel Jeppesen in 2nd. John Copeland would round out the top 3 result. Overall in the championship it was Jim Meyer who took the title two points ahead of John Copeland.

KO Propo EX-2 ST2 radio system

KO Propo have introduced their new EX-2 ST2 club-level radio system. The transmitter utilises the Extension Unit 2 steering wheel as well as upgraded angle sensors for the steering wheel and throttle lever that not only are about 100-times as durable as the standard potentiometers, they also offer a more linear output for greatly improved steering, throttle and brake feeling in both electric and nitro classes. The steering unit also offers dual ball bearings for the steering wheel shaft which optimises feeling and durability while a soft steering wheel return spring ensures a linear steering wheel feeling from the neutral point all the way up to the maximum operation angle. The ST2 transmitter is rounded out by the new V2.12 firmware as it is used with the high-end EX-RR transmitter. The radio system includes the compact size KR-241FH 4-channel receiver and it will hit stores at the end of August.

Phat Bodies V Rally 1/10th rally body shell

UK company Phat Bodies have introduced their new V Rally body shell for 1/10th scale rally and rallycross cars. Sporting large wheel arches the body supports 195mm wide chassis and it can be used with “dirt” high ground clearance or “tarmac” low ground clearance chassis setting, making it very versatile. The body is molded from high-quality polycarbonate, it comes in lightweight 0.75mm or more durable club racer 1.0mm thickness and includes a roof scoop, 2-piece rear wing, vinyl window masks and high-quality light, grille and vent stickers.

Rusti Design XX4 shorty LiPo brace kit

Available from French brand Rusti Design is a LiPo brace kit for the vintage Team Losi XX4 buggy. The 3-D-printed braces were designed for the use with the TLR231092 22X-4 battery mount set of which the rubber strap and hook parts are needed as donor parts. Fitting the braces requires some DIY in the form of the drilling of four mounting holes, however Rusti Design supply a drilling jig with the brace kit. Using the braces will allow for a more professionally looking battery mounting and it required additional hardware in the form of 4-40×3/8” flat head and M3x10mm flat head screws.
